Theorem of the Pit Crew

Theorem T3
Engineers without full SDLC seniority, operating under ACE TL design guardrails with AI tools, form 3× micro-teams of three — executing at the pace of senior individuals without the overhead of traditional mentoring or coordination.

Implication

The Pit Crew is the execution unit of RACE Programming: three engineers, directed by an AI Product who manages context and guardrails, delivering against an Executable Product Backlog authored by the Pit Wall. The ACE TL guardrails (design constraints, alignment reviews, no-duplication rules) are what make junior-capable teams produce senior-grade output.

Full proof and discussion

A complete derivation — including proof sketch, worked examples, edge cases, and references to supporting research — is in progress. This page will be expanded as the theory matures.

In the meantime, the statement and implication above are the compressed form; they are sufficient to derive the main methodological consequences worked out in RACE Programming.
